Pavasarinė beretė

Valio!!!! Prasidėjo kalendorinis pavasaris!! :) Tik kalendorinis, nes už lango vaizdas visai ne pavasariškas. Tai reiškia, dar ne vėlu megzti kepures, pirštines ir kojines :) Tad pristatau: dar viena beretė pagal Jeni Chase Beret de Printemps. Beje, mano variantas visai ne pavasariškas, nes iš šiltų, storų siūlų. Šiandien vaikštinėjant su Maja per lietų ir vėją labai pagelbėjo ;)





















Springy berret

Hurray!!!! Spring has started (at least by the calendar)!! :) It's only by the calendar, cause outside the window it doesn't look like spring at all. It means that its not too late to knit more of caps, gloves and socks :) So I present a new berret by Jeni Chase Beret de Printemps. By the way, my version is not "de Printemps" at all, cause its made of thick and warm yarn. It was really helping on a rainy and windy walk with Maja ;)

Balta žiema, bet ne Kalėdos

Žiema kaip reikiant įsismarkavo. Turiu prisipažinti, kad man visas tas žiemiškas oras patinka. Nėra purvo, pažliugusio sniego, nereikia Majos plauti po kiekvieno pasivaikščiojimo. Ir žieminiai mezginiai kažkaip smagiau mezgasi, kai iš karto panaudojami :)

White winter, not Christmas
The winter has really got its sprit. I have to admit that I kind of like this all winterish weather. No mud, no sand in the house from dog, no need to wash Maja after every walk. Winterish weather also means using all the items I've knitted which is kind of inspiring :) I'm glad to share some pictures of last week walks.

Šaltukas

Kai šaltukas paspaudė, tenka išsitraukti visus vilnonius aksesuarus ir visais įmanomais būdais šiltintis. Šiąnakt buvo bent jau -18 C. Tad paskutinis mano mezginys - riešinės - pačiu laiku. Jas mezgiau dovanų, tikiuosi, kad gavėja jas sėkmingai naudoja ir bent kiek mažiau šala.


Frost

As the cold has really arrived, its a good idea to find all the woolly accessories and keep yourself warm in all possibile ways. Last night it must have been at least -18 C. So my last knitting project - wrist warmers - is just in time. I knitted it as a gift. I hope that the receiver is using it and is a little bit less cold :)

Antroji beretė

Skubu dar šiemet pasigirti savo antraja, jau padovanota berete. Tai Felicia LO Ballard Slouch Hat. Jaučiu, kad ir dvi beretės jau ne riba :D Randasi noras pabandyti ir tą, ir kitą, ir tokios spalvos, ir kitokios... Laikas parodys. Dabar ant virbalų sėdi rimtas megztinis, o po to - Nauji metai, nauji mezgalai :)

The second beret

I'm eager to show my second beret, which was made as a present. It's Felicia LO Ballard Slouch Hat. I'm getting a strong feeling that two berets is not it, more is on its way :) Now I want to knit this and that beret and this and that colour... Time will show. At the moment I've got complicated pullover on my needles. Then its New Year, new knits...

Pirmoji beretė

Neseniai nusimezgiau pirmąją savo beretę. Negaliu patikėti, kad iki šiol niekada neturėjau beretės! Nors buvau nusiteikusi, kad jei jau mano išskirtinei galvai ji netiks, kam nors labai pasiseks ir aš ją padovanosiu, bet taip tikrai neatsitiks. Naujas atradimas :) Mezgėsi greitai ir smagiai, rezultatas tikrai nenuvylė. Ši dizainerės Angela Hahn beretė (Vine and leaf beret) - iš Vogue knitting fall 2009. Aiškus aprašymas, tikslios instrukicjos. Vienintelis dalykėlis - ji didoka. Pradžioje mezgiau M dydį, bet jame būčiau visiškai paskendusi. S dydis tinka geriau, bet ir tai galėtų būti kiek mažesnis. Anyway, esu labai patenkinta rezultatu ir tikrai mano žieminius aksesuarus papildys ne viena beretė :)


My first beret
Not long time ago I knitted my first beret. I can't believe I haven't had beret before now! I was preparing to the fact that it woudn't fit my exceptional head and some friend of mine will be lucky to get it as Christmas present, but it's not going to happen. Beret is my new discovery! It was easy to knit and result is more then I expected. This beret (Vine and Leaf beret) is by Angela Hahn, its from Vogue knitting fall 2009. I really liked clear instructions. The only thing that was a bit strange - the size. I started with the M size, but I would have "drowned" in it. S was better, but even that could be a bit smaller. Anyway, I really like the result and I'm sure that I'm about to increase amount of my winter accessuries :)
